AllCaps is entering the Verticals space.
If you are creative, we would love to hear a pitch from you. We are looking for creators to collaborate with to produce a Micro Drama!
Our goal is to bring similar creative value systems to the Vertical space. We want to tell an elevated story rooted in cultural specificity, with unforgettable, nuanced, layered characters that jump off the screen, in dynamic relationships & conflicts that keep us wanting & watching more. We want to feel contemporary, fresh, urgent, and propulsive. Additionally, we hope to use audience data on the verticals we produce to potentially develop them into long form adaptations.
Format
2 min episodes x 50 - 70 eps. Every episode ends with a hook or question. The length should be of a typical screenplay (80-120 pages) but in the vertical format of a new episode every 1.5 - 2 pages.
Genre and Target Audience
We’re interested in genre bending stories that are not limited to but may include mystery, horror, thriller, fantasy, mythology, or romance. This micro drama is for audiences all around the world. The characters should be reflective of the worlds they’re in. The target audience is women ages 30-50.
Alternatively, we see a gap in the vertical space for tweens and would love to target the 11-15 year old demographic as well.
Pitches can be for a live-action or an animated series.
Location
Think of 3-4 settings with multiple locations: a palatial house in the mountains or high school with a gym, classrooms, or a company with board rooms & bathrooms.
Feel free to be as specific as you’d like with the geography of the location.
Requirements
Has a pilot or screenplay sample
Written or directed a short film or more
Existing screenplays can be adapted
Non-union
